Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. In this role, you will operate MIG welding equipment to join metal components, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to specifications. You will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, preparing materials, and maintaining welding equipment.
ResponsibilitiesOperate MIG welding equipment to join metal components.Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Prepare materials for welding by cleaning and grinding metal surfaces.Set up and maintain welding machinery and equipment.Perform welding in various positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead).Inspect welds for quality and conformance to specifications.Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.Essential SkillsProficiency in MIG welding techniques.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.Knowledge of welding safety practices.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED; technical or vocational training in welding is a plus.Proven experience with MIG welding on aluminum.Understanding of welding principles, symbols, and blueprints.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.Commitment to safety procedures and protocols.Proficiency in programming and operating robotic welding systems.Familiarity with aluminum welding processes.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is non-climate controlled, with shifts from 5am to 4pm, Monday through Thursday, and additional hours possible on Friday and Saturday. The work schedule includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch and three 10-minute breaks. This role requires physical stamina and dexterity to perform welding tasks effectively.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bates City, Missouri.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
