MIG Welders Wanted! 1ST and 2ND shift OPEN up to $28/HR to start

Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a MIG Welder, where you will be responsible for welding various types of steel and alloys, primarily for playground equipment. The materials you'll work with include steel, stainless steel, aluminum, black steel, and alloys, with gauges up to 1/8\" thick, requiring precision due to their sensitivity. You will be welding off blueprints, with assistance from team members who prepare materials in fixtures. The role involves moving fixtures into the welding bay, which may include lifting up to 50 lbs.

Hours:

1stshift: Mon-Fri, 5am-1pm with OT until 3pm about 6 months out of the year2ndShift:Mon-Thu, 1pm-11pm **Busy Season – 12pm-12am or 11am-11pm

ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG welding on steel and alloy materials.Read and interpret welding blueprints accurately.Ensure precise welding on thinner gauges up to 1/8\" thick.Move welding fixtures into the welding bay, involving occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.Essential SkillsMinimum of 1 year recent experience in MIG welding or equivalent schooling.Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints; testing required.Proficiency in using a tape measure to 1/32\".Capability to lift 50 lbs without restrictions.Additional Skills & Qualifications2-year Welding Degree is preferred.Experience in pipe welding is an advantage.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
