**Job Title: MIG Welder** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team in building and installing dust collection and ventilation systems. This role involves MIG welding on custom parts, primarily working with thin gauge materials, including stainless steel and carbon steel. The ideal candidate will have experience with reading prints, performing layout, tacking, and welding seams, as well as assisting fabricators using various sheet metal fabrication equipment. **Responsibilities** + Perform MIG welding on custom parts, primarily with thin gauge materials. + Read and interpret blueprints for layout and welding tasks. + Assist fabricators with shears, press brakes, grinders, rollers, saws, and other sheet metal fabrication equipment. + Work with 16 to 14 gauge sheet metal and duct work. + Ensure precise measurements using a tape measure. + Adapt to various product requirements and perform one-off custom jobs. **Essential Skills** + Proficient in TIG welding in a custom environment. + Experience in thin gauge metal fabricating. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication. **Why Work Here?** Join a driven company with a small company mentality where everyone pitches in to get the job done. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with shifts from 5:00 am to 2:30 pm, often extending to 4:30 pm or 5:30 pm for overtime.
