Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MIG/Stick Welder who can read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols to perform MIG and Stick welding on steel components. Candidates will be required to pass a basic MIG weld test and demonstrate their ability to set up the welding machine after it is zeroed out. You will be working with steel ranging from 20 gauge to 5/8 inch.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG and Stick welding on steel components.Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols accurately.Set up and operate welding machines, ensuring they are zeroed out before use.Complete a basic MIG flat welding test successfully.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in MIG and Stick welding techniques.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.Capability to read a tape measure accurately.Entry-level candidates with relevant schooling are welcome.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with blueprint reading and interpretation.Familiarity with welding machine setup and operation.

The work environment includes handling hot-applied crack sealants, silicone joint sealants, hot-applied mastics, and cold-mix for pavement surface patching and repair. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
