**_Position Title: Welder_** Overview: We are looking for a proficient welder with experience working on hard steel using MIG and pulse-style hardwire (.045) techniques. This role requires precision welding, including ultrasonic methods, on materials ranging from 3/8" to 4" thick. The position is based in a heat-treat-style welding environment and involves independent setup and layout of fixtures. Over time, you will be trained and certified to weld components for concrete boom trucks, with all welds subject to X-ray inspection and certification. **_Key Responsibilities:_** + Perform MIG and pulse-style hardwire (.045) welding on heavy steel. + Independently handle fixture setup, layout, and fit-up. + Execute ultrasonic welding on thick materials with high precision. + Train and certify in welding components for concrete boom trucks. + Ensure all welds meet stringent X-ray and quality standards. **_Required Skills:_** + Proficiency in MIG welding on heavy gauge steel. + At least one year of blueprint reading experience. + Skilled in pulse-style MIG welding using .045 hardwire. + Effective communication and teamwork abilities. + Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. **_Preferred Qualifications:_** + TIG welding experience. + Familiarity with structural steel fabrication. **_What Sets This Opportunity Apart:_** Once hired, employees receive double-time pay for hours worked beyond 48 per week. Standard hours are 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with frequent overtime extending the day from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
