Job Title: MIG and TIG Welder
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled MIG and TIG Welder who can work with a variety of materials including sheet metal, carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and copper. The ideal candidate will produce high-quality welds with exceptional appearance and no leaks, while adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Perform weldments with exceptional appearance on various materials.Engage in inter-piping tasks, including fitting, aligning, and adjustments.Operate hand-welding and flame-cutting equipment such as an oxyacetylene torch.Read blueprints and drawings to identify welding measurements and positions.Troubleshoot product issues with assistance.Monitor equipment operation to ensure proper heat settings and weld tips.Perform preventative maintenance on weld machines.Utilize a variety of air and electric hand tools.Assist in training Welder I and II.Conduct leak tests.Operate a crane forklift.Ensure compliance with safety protocols by wearing protective gear.Maintain an organized and clean work area.Perform additional duties such as weld assembly and laser weld pans.Essential Skills
Proficiency in TIG welding with around 3 years of experience, which may include schooling.Experience with thin gauge metals and pipe welding techniques.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience welding with aluminum and stainless steel.Familiarity with MIG, ARC welding, and torch cutting.Additional Skills & Qualifications
6G Certifications.Experience with pressure vessels.Vocational schooling in welding.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The position operates from 2:15 PM to 12:45 AM, with potential overtime of up to 10 hours a week, including a 5-hour shift on Saturdays. The team consists of 9 members, including 6 TIG Welders and 3 MIG Welders, in a laid-back and diverse environment. Our work culture emphasizes quick training and collaboration. You'll work in both coil and sheet metal weld areas, adhering to a dress code of boots, long pants without holes, and flame-retardant shirts.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
