By joining us, you’ll contribute to a project that’s not just technical, it’s strategic for Europe’s future. **What** **you'll** **do** + Contribute (design and implement enhancements) to Gardener; implement Gardener Extensions for cluster owners. + Implement Kubernetes controllers in Go Lang. + Write Gardener Enhancement Proposals, attend Gardener Technical and Product Steering Committee meetings (for seniors). + Attend Kubernetes SIG meetings and contribute back in the upstream (for seniors) + Continuously learn and apply new technologies and best practices to keep us ahead of the curve. **What** **we're** **looking for** + Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with a collaborative, proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement. + Ability to clearly communicate and present complex technical concepts + Good understanding of Kubernetes, cloud, and container technologies.  + Hands-on experience in at least one programming language, Golang preferred.  + A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. + Profound background in agile software engineering.  + Ability to positively inspire as well as build trust, seed confidence and align people on common goals.  + Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal. **Meet your team** We are a team of builders, innovators, and collaborators.
