Find your future with us. **Boeing Defense, Space and Security** (BDS) is looking for a **Mid-Level Electrical Manufacturing Engineer** (Level 3) to join our dynamic team at **Kennedy Space Center, Florida.** In this role, you will play a crucial part in the development and production of the CST-100 Starliner spacecraft, which is designed to transport crew to the International Space Station and beyond. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality and efficiency in manufacturing processes. **Position Responsibilities:** + Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and tooling requirements + Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for the Starliner program + Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement + Support root cause analysis and corrective action for manufacturing issues + Task lead critical operations on the manufacturing shop floor + Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices + Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on manufacturability and assembly + Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability and assembly of components + Work closely with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of materials **This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.** **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):** + Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement + 5+ years of experience in a production-related discipline such as Manufacturing, Quality, Production Engineering, Supplier Management, or Supplier Quality + Experience with aerospace manufacturing processes and standards + Experience with engineering and design software (i.e. CAD/3D packages (UG/NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, CREO, etc.) + Experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Experience showcasing effective communication, organizational and team oriented skills + Must be able to work flexible hours, overtime and occasional weekends as mission requires it **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** + Experience with spacecraft electrical harness fabrication and installations + Experience with Model Based Instruction (MBI) production planning + Knowledge of lean manufacturing principle + Familiarity with quality assurance processes and tools **Conflict of Interest:** Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process. **Drug Free Workplace:** Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. **Pay and Benefits** : At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
