Guidehouse is seeking a Lead Microsoft Power Platform & SharePoint Developer to own the design, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise SharePoint sites and Power Platform solutions. This role will lead the development and stabilization of Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and Power BI integrations, with a strong emphasis on improving existing solutions, reducing technical debt, and establishing scalable, well-governed patterns.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, experienced in untangling poorly designed implementations, and comfortable leading technical decisions while working closely with business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
SharePoint & Platform Ownership
Own the architecture, maintenance, and enhancement of SharePoint Online sites and hubs
Refactor and clean up legacy SharePoint configurations, lists, libraries, permissions, and workflows
Establish best practices for site structure, governance, security, and performance
Power Apps Development
Maintain, refactor, and enhance existing Canvas and SharePoint-integrated Power Apps
Redesign inefficient or overly complex apps to improve performance, usability, and maintainability
Implement standardized patterns for forms, validation, error handling, and user experience
Power Automate
Analyze, optimize, and consolidate Power Automate flows
Replace fragile or redundant flows with scalable, well-documented automation
Design automated workflows for approvals, notifications, data ingestion, and system integrations
Power BI & Analytics
Integrate Power BI reports and dashboards into SharePoint and Power Apps
Support data modeling, metric definitions, and reporting aligned with business needs
Partner with analytics stakeholders to ensure accuracy, performance, and clarity of insights
What You Will Need:
Minimum of FIVE (5) years of SharePoint Online administration and development
Minimum Degree: US equivalent bachelor’s degree
Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred
Selected candidate must be able to work in a hybrid environment (employee may be required to be onsite)
US Citizenship is contractually required
Excellent communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of employees including C-level
Experience creating strong business cases supported by compelling value propositi
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Experience in “Big 4” or equivalent established consulting firm and/or Microsoft Gold partner highly desired
BA/BS degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering
Experience with public sector clients preferred
Experience with Agile or Hybrid-Agile methodology
