Your Key Responsibilities To achieve Production Quality, Cost & Delivery (QCD) targets as per Customer requirement
by driving & guiding production team on daily basis.
 Schedule , Plan, Coordinate & Conduct the Production meetings.
 Tracking, Monitoring & Improving the KPIs i.e Production Backlog, Delivery Reliability &
Production Hit Rate.
 Interaction with Cross Functional Teams for various production related issues and ensuring
closure of open issues if any.
 Drive improvements through KAIZEN, TPM, POKAYOKE,FFQ, Idea Management.
 To Train, Motivate & Engage the team members through several engagement activities.
 Preparation for the activities & readiness prior to the various audits i.e TS 16949, ISO 14001
and EHS and any additional audits/ visits.
 Plan training for subordinates as per skill / competency needs.
 Update and maintain production schedule & production control records.
 Daily Gemba walk on the line as well as in the shopfloor to check and ensure the basics are I
place
 Daily Quality review meeting on shop floor to avoid the Potential Customer concerns /
complaints risk & to fix the issue in case of any near miss
 Monitoring of Resources, Material consumption, manpower, Over time / use of temporary
head count.
 Oversee all staff scheduling, leave and overtime and maintaining the data records.
 Upskilling, Reskilling & Developing the Team members as per the job requirement & to check
the effectiveness of the person as per the qualification matrix
 Facilitate disciplinary measures according to company policy and ensuring Shop Floor
discipline.
 Ensure shop floor cleanliness and maintain standards and orderliness as per "5S+2"
principles and follow all safety standards as per laid down company procedures.
 Driving the Projects within the segment in order to flex the cost. Your Qualifications BE (Production/ Mechanical) with minimum 10 years / DME or Diploma in Production Engineering
with minimum 12 years’ experience in:
 Basic knowledge of Grinding Operations.
 Basic Knowledge of machine setups & Trouble shooting
 Manpower management
 Set up Improvements & Monitoring, TPM, Problem Solving Tools.
 To drive & implement Continuous Improvement Tools
