Graduate of a 2-4 year AMA approved Respiratory Therapy programBachelor’s Degree Required, Masters PreferredRequired Licenses[Ohio, United States] Respiratory Therapist
Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner from the State of OhioMinimum Work Experience10 years of clinical experience in the Respiratory field5 years minimum experience in supervision (KHN preferred)RRT Credentials issued by the National Board of Respiratory CareCurrent BLS with ACLS, PALS, NRP for respective work areaActive AARC membership requiredStrong supervision, personnel, leadership, and educational skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsPossesses good clinical and technical knowledge of Respiratory CareStrong computer and EMR understanding Preferred Qualifications
Key Job Responsibilities:Responsible for Kettering Respiratory Department, NICU Respiratory, Troy Respiratory Care and Middletown ED Respiratory Care.1. QAPI report twice a year. Doctor Shah to present2. NICU. Oversee staffing, budget.3. Monthly Cardiopulmonary division meeting.4. Monthly leadership meeting5. Meet with HR partner monthly6. Respiratory Network Advisory Council monthly7. Respiratory Advisory Council at KCMA and Sinclair Community College8. Respiratory Responsibilitya. Oversight of schedulingb. Productivityc. Budgetd. Purchasing equipment and suppliese. Oversee purchase of gasses for facilitiesf. Time and attendanceg. Policy/procedure manual updated every three years but check yearlyh. Meet with Medical Director regularlyi. Interview and hiring of new staffj. Staff meetings- 4 per year
