**Job Summary** We are looking for an experienced **Manager – HR Shared Services (HRSS)** with strong expertise in **HRIS implementation and operations** , particularly **UKG Pro, Workday** , or similar enterprise HR platforms. The role will lead HR shared services delivery while partnering closely with HR, IT, and product teams to ensure scalable, efficient, and technology-driven HR operations. **Product-side knowledge or experience working with HR tech products** will be a strong advantage. **Key Responsibilities** **HR Shared Services Leadership** + Lead and manage HR Shared Services operations across employee lifecycle processes (hire to retire) + Ensure consistent, compliant, and high-quality HR service delivery across regions/business units + Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives + Define and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and service metrics for HRSS performance **HRIS Implementation & Management** + Lead or support **end-to-end HRIS implementations** , upgrades, and enhancements + Act as HRIS functional lead for systems such as **UKG Pro, Workday** , or similar platforms + Partner with IT, vendors, and business stakeholders on system design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support + Translate HR business requirements into system configurations and functional specifications + Own data integrity, reporting accuracy, and system governance **Product & Technology Collaboration** + Collaborate with **HRIS product teams, engineering, or vendors** to provide functional inputs and user feedback + Contribute to product roadmap discussions, enhancements, and feature testing (UAT) + Leverage product knowledge to improve user experience, adoption, and system effectiveness + Support integrations between HRIS and other enterprise systems (Payroll, Finance, LMS, etc.) **Global Process Standardization & Continuous Improvement** + Drive global process standardization while balancing local regulatory and cultural requirements. + Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and digitize HR services to improve efficiency and employee experience. + Partner with HRIS, IT, and COEs to implement global system enhancements and workflow automation. + Lead or support global HR transformation, shared services expansion, or operating model changes. + Strong understanding of how AI can be applied to HR Shared Services, employee support models, and operational efficiency. **Stakeholder Management** + Serve as a trusted advisor to HR leadership and business stakeholders + Manage vendor relationships, including implementation partners and HR tech providers + Support change management, training, and communication during system rollouts **Governance, Risk & Compliance** + Ensure compliance with global and local employment laws, data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR), and internal controls. + Maintain global SOPs, process documentation, and audit readiness. + Support internal audits, regulatory reviews, and risk mitigation initiatives across regions. **Required Qualifications & Skills** **Experience** + 8+ years of progressive experience in **HR Shared Services, HR Operations, or HR Technology** + Proven hands-on experience with **HRIS implementation and operations** + Strong functional knowledge of **UKG Pro, Workday** , or similar HR platforms + Experience working closely with **product teams or HR tech vendors** is highly desirable **Skills & Competencies** + Strong understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle + Ability to manage complex system implementations and cross-functional projects + Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills + Analytical mindset with strong data, reporting, and problem-solving capabilities + Experience in process re-engineering and automation + People leadership and team management experience **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience in **HR tech product companies** or SaaS environments + Exposure to global HR operations and multi-country implementations It is the policy of Ultimate Software to promote and assure equal employment opportunity for all current and prospective Peeps without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, marital status, familial status, sexual orientation, pregnancy, genetic information, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, veteran status, and any other legally protected status entitled to protection under federal, state, or local anti-discrimination laws.
