Primary Duties + Operate, monitor, and adjust manufacturing machinery to maintain consistent production flow while strictly following established protocols and safety regulations. + Perform comprehensive quality inspections at multiple points in the production cycle to ensure final products meet rigorous company and industry standards. + Collaborate closely with colleagues and supervisors to promptly identify production bottlenecks or deviations, providing effective solutions to prevent delays. + Maintain meticulous production logs, documenting equipment status, yield rates, and any anomalies or incidents, facilitating accurate reporting and continuous improvement efforts. + Engage actively in process improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and feedback to enhance operational efficiency and reduce material waste. + Adhere consistently to all workplace safety procedures and participate fully in ongoing safety training programs, fostering a culture of safety excellence. + Assist with inventory control by accurately tracking consumption of raw materials, reporting discrepancies, and helping coordinate timely replenishments to avoid production interruptions. + Carry out routine preventative maintenance tasks on assigned machinery, such as lubrication, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting, to ensure reliable operation and minimize downtime. + Demonstrate flexibility by supporting cross-functional tasks and fulfilling other duties as assigned to meet production goals and support team success. Qualifications + Prior hands-on experience in manufacturing or production environments with demonstrated operator-level responsibilities, showcasing a track record of reliability and quality output. + Strong mechanical skills with the ability to adeptly operate, adjust, and maintain diverse types of manufacturing equipment and tools. + Keen attention to detail to consistently produce high-quality products while identifying potential issues early in the production process. + Competency in reading and interpreting production schedules, work orders, technical documents, and comprehensive safety guidelines. + Effective verbal and written communication skills to facilitate clear coordination and teamwork across multiple departments and shifts. + Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods and safely perform repetitive manual tasks, maintaining focus and efficiency throughout shifts. + Proven adherence to established operational procedures, safety standards, and quality control measures at all times. + Demonstrated adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies, processes, and methodologies in a dynamic manufacturing setting. + Problem-solving mindset with the capacity to independently troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate complex problems appropriately.
