Job Description
Join our innovative team as a Metrology Technician on the Swing Shift, where you will play an integral role in quality assurance within the manufacturing process. You will be working with sophisticated technology in a lab setting, ensuring the production of high-quality optical filters and coatings.
Responsibilities
Operate metrology equipment and process wafers, parts, and data.Perform flatness measurements to determine if parts meet specifications.Write documentation for lab processes.Conduct wafer and data analysis to identify irregularities.Set up testing machines to analyze parts.Comfortably use a computer for data entry and analysis.Essential Skills
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel.Ability to analyze large spreadsheets and data for extended periods.Comfortable with independent and repetitive tasks.Technically inclined to work with advanced technology.Willingness to work at least one weekend day every week.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Entry-level position open to candidates from diverse backgrounds.Some college experience is a nice-to-have.Detail-oriented with multitasking abilities.Capability to manage multiple machines concurrently.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in an open lab environment alongside 3-4 teammates, where collaboration is key. The dress code includes closed-toed shoes and gloves when handling products. The Swing Shift schedule runs from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, with a requirement to train during the day for the first month.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Rosa, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.10 - $24.20/hr.
