Metal Sign Fabricator - San Diego, CA - Career OpportunityJob DescriptionAs a Metal Sign Fabricator, you will work off of a work order with blueprints and specific instructions to fabricate signs. This role involves various metalworking processes, including MIG spot welding, metal bending, and operating various machinery.ResponsibilitiesInterpret and follow blueprints and work orders to fabricate signs.Perform MIG spot welding (tacking) on aluminum.Bend metal using appropriate tools and machinery.Operate shear, press brake, and drill press efficiently.Glue LED lights into signs accurately and securely.Utilize accu-bend and acculcinch tools, bandsaw, and router table.Ensure all fabricated signs meet quality standards.Essential SkillsProficiency in MIG spot welding on aluminum.Experience in sheet metal fabrication.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.2-5 years of experience with shear, press brake, and drill press operations.Manufacturing or job shop experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working in a fast-paced job shop environment.Familiarity with populating LEDs.Why Work Here?This role offers a steady amount of work in a super busy environment with a small job shop feel. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $31.00/hr.
