Job Title: Installer

Job Description

Join our team as an Installer, where you will interpret construction blueprints and specifications to determine layout, materials, and framing requirements. You will perform accurate layout work using tools like lasers, chalk lines, and tape measures to ensure proper placement of walls, ceilings, soffits, and bulkheads.

Responsibilities

Measure, cut, and assemble metal studs and track for framing systems, ensuring structures are plumb, level, and square.Install drywall panels using proper fastening techniques to achieve clean, aligned surfaces.Tape joints and apply joint compound in multiple coats to create smooth, seamless finishes.Sand and prepare surfaces for paint, texture, or final finishes.Repair damaged drywall, including patching holes, cracks, dents, and areas affected by moisture.Use hand and power tools safely and effectively, including screw guns, chop saws, taping tools, sanders, lasers, and levels.Coordinate with other trades to ensure framing and drywall work aligns with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations.Troubleshoot and resolve field issues, such as layout discrepancies, framing conflicts, or design changes.Assist with material handling, including loading, unloading, staging, and organizing metal studs, track, and drywall sheets.Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.

Work Environment

This role requires traveling up to 5 hours from Chambersburg, PA, and may require overnight stays for jobs. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with shifts ranging from 10-12 hours. A team-oriented environment that values feedback and collaboration.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waynesboro, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
