**Job Title: Metal Framer $24-$30**
**Job Description**
As a Metal Framer, you will be responsible for cutting metal studs to size, cutting drywall for installation, and carrying and hanging drywall using a screw gun. You will construct and install framed partitions and various types of bulkheads, and perform layout from plans and blueprints or according to construction standards. The role may also involve cleanup, scrapping, and moving materials, tools, or equipment. You will erect and dismantle scaffolds and calculate unit costs based on the quantity of materials installed, hours worked, and labor dollars. Attendance and participation in all required company training programs are expected, alongside adherence to all company policies and procedures.
**Responsibilities**
+ Cut metal studs and drywall to specified sizes.
+ Carry and hang drywall using a screw gun.
+ Construct and install framed partitions and bulkheads.
+ Perform layout from plans and blueprints, or according to construction standards.
+ Attach corner and ceiling bead.
+ Conduct cleanup, scrapping, and moving of materials, tools, or equipment as needed.
+ Erect and dismantle scaffolds.
+ Calculate unit costs based on material quantity, hours worked, and labor dollars.
+ Attend and participate in company training programs.
+ Conform to company policies and procedures.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3+ years of experience in commercial framing.
+ 3+ years of experience in metal stud framing.
+ 3+ years of experience in drywall hanging.
+ Proficient with drywall gun, impact driver, drywall router, screw gun, rotozip, hammer, gyp knife, and tape measure.
+ Ability to lift and carry up to 120 lbs.
+ Capability to climb ladders and scaffolding.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in finish carpentry and rough carpentry.
+ Experience in commercial construction.
+ Ability to reach from floor to overhead and handle repetitive postures.
+ Tolerance for standing posture up to 4 hours continuously, for up to 8 hours per day.
+ Ability to walk up to 3000 feet in one day.
+ Proficient in operating power tools between 15 to 50 times per hour.

**Work Environment**
Work on new construction sites, including data centers, commercial buildings, and hotels. Be prepared for hot indoor and outdoor conditions, working on your feet all day with potential exposure to heights. Use scissor lifts and boom lifts during your shift. The role requires a start time of 5:30/6 am and consists of a 40-hour workweek, with occasional overtime of 10+ hours.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.65 - $30.20/hr.
