**Job Title: Metal Frame Carpenter** **Job Description** Join our team as a Metal Frame Carpenter, where you will play a crucial role in constructing both interior and exterior wall systems for commercial job sites using metal studs, track, and related components. You will read and interpret commercial blueprints, layout drawings, and specifications to ensure precise and effective construction. **Responsibilities** + Construct interior and exterior wall systems for commercial jobsites using metal studs, track, and related components. + Read and interpret commercial blueprints, layout drawings, and specifications. + Lay out wall locations using lasers, levels, and measuring tools. + Install headers, backing, bracing, and fire-stopping materials. + Frame openings for doors, storefronts, windows, and mechanical systems. + Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades to maintain project flow. **Essential Skills** + At least 2 years of experience in the installation of metal stud framing. + Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment. + Strong understanding of rough carpentry techniques and methods. + Excellent attention to detail and precision. + Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings. + Experience with commercial construction. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Valid driver's license. + Ability to lift 50+ lbs. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mason City, IA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
