VENUE/PROPERTY INFO
Located at PNC Field, home of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, this role offers the opportunity to work in a professional sports and events venue. PNC Field is a 10,000-seat professional baseball stadium featuring a full-size ballpark, multiple concession areas, premium seating, suites, and event spaces. The venue hosts not only baseball games but is proud to host a range of other events throughout the year.
The Role:
Assist in all merchandise operations and fulfill company goals and objectives with an emphasis on customer service. Assist in managing merchandise operations to reduce cost, enhance revenues, grow client relations, and enhance the customer experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in all merchandise operations and fulfill company goals and objectives with an emphasis on customer service. Assist in managing merchandise operations to reduce cost, enhance revenues, grow client relations, and enhance the customer experience.
Perform inventory & maintain proper inventory levels throughout PNC Field.Supervise assigned personnel, discipline, evaluate performance, and develop each employee to his/her potential.Ensure proper cash handling procedures are in effect at all times.Manage performance of employees by preparing and communicating goals. Communicating progress or opportunities for improvement to provide effective feedback.Assist in the development of programs that result in increased customer satisfaction at PNC Field.Work with visual displays and merchandising of stands. Setting up displays to best attract customers' attention.Maintain product and service quality standards and anticipate customer needs/concernsPerform other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required.QUALIFICATIONS:
All applicants must be at least 18 years of age1-2 years of merchandise experience preferredAble to work in a team environment, move fast, and act on assigned dutiesAbility to walk and stand for extended periods of timeMust be flexible to work all PNC Field events including late nights, weekends and holidays.Energetic, self-motivated, friendly personality, and excellent guest services skills are requiredStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently when a manager is not presentStrong leadership and communication skills with the ability to coach and motivate a team.Familiarity with ecommerce online order fulfillment (Shopify)Must be able to work in a fast paced and continuously changing environmentBilingual skills (Spanish/English) are a plus but not required.High school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferredWORKING CONDITIONS
