Hobby Lobby’s corporate office in Oklahoma City is looking for a full-time person to work in the Construction Department. This position is located at SW 44th and Council.  

Responsibilities - Work directly with Architects and Engineers in design of the Mechanical and Electrical systems at different projectsReview/Understand National/Local Codes to ensure corporate standards stay up to date with requirementsReview Construction Documents to ensure plans & specifications communicate the overall design and corporate standard accuratelyReview and approve MEP equipment submittals for accuracyAssist the Property Management/Utilities group as needed with Mechanical and Electrical questions for maintaining storesReview Project Closeout documents for Mechanical installAssist Superintendents and Project Managers during build out of projects with MEP related itemsCoordinate Energy Management System design and installation with EMS Vendor, A&E Firm, and Field The ideal candidate will possess the following experience, skills, and attributes:Mechanical or Electrical Journeyman background with 5-10 years practical commercial field experienceComputer skills with software proficiency in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work. Attention to detail and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and oral communication skills Inter-personal skills and ability to work in a team environmentTo be considered for this position, an applicant must provide a cover letter with a summary of the applicant’s particular interest in the position, relevant experience, and wage requirements, along with a current résumé.
