Meeting & Events Manager Job ID 255935 Posted 16-Jan-2026 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Facilities Management Location(s) New York City - New York - United States of America About The Role: + The Meetings and Events Manager will lead successful sales and coordination of events as the primary point of contact for clients and primary communicator of event details to the Experience and Property Management Team. + This roleis responsible forguiding event clients through the full scope of the planning process, including furniture and equipment configurations, A/V requirements, F&B service, and other event attendee services. What You'll Do: Serve as main contact for high profile and/or large engagements. Accountable to develop and communicate end-to-end event plans to ensure magnificent execution of events and meetings. Communicate events schedules with all required partners and service providers. Responsible for all communications, planning meetings, and proactively planning logistics across the master calendar. Responsible for pre-event planning, introducing service delivery teams to client. Answer questions, ensure understanding of details of event between host and service delivery team and post event reporting and reconciliation. This includes but is not limited to: sourcing/selecting/recommending vendors for catering, decor, entertainment, etc. Problem-solving issues that arise, welcoming guests, directing event set-up, communicating with staff, organizing vendors, and managing tear-down. Responsible for building and maintaining work relationships with internal and external clients in a timely and professional manner. Participates and/or leads planning calls, representing the site and ensuring all event aspects are in accordance with building safety and security regulations. Create and distribute banquet event orders (BEO) to vendors and partners defining event specifics including a timeline and floor plans for set-up, event flow, and event strike details. Responsible for food and beverage management including menu planning, coordinating with the client. Partners with event hosts to recommend and source decor, entertainment, gifts/giveaways, transportation, security, signage and any other special needs as indicated by event client. Key contact for the event in ensuring seamless event delivery by the Meeting & Events operations team. Check in with the team and client on the day of the event to ensure thorough communication. Responsible for on-site logistics including handling vendors ensuring a certificate of insurance is on file, load in and set up is on time and in adherence to building/site policies and is a point of escalation should an issue arise. Capture post-event reconciliation and reporting and suggests recommendations for continuous improvement and cost / process efficiencies. Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) preferred. The minimum salary for the Meeting and Events Manager position is $95,000 ,XXX annually and the maximum salary for theposition is $110 ,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
