Are you a scientific expert passionate about improving the lives of patients with severe osteoporosis? We are seeking a driven and curious Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Osteo to join our Immunology team in Sweden. In this field‑based role, you will combine scientific depth with cross‑functional collaboration to advance meaningful solutions for patients.
About the role
As an MSL Osteo, you are the UCB’s key scientific discussion partner in osteoporosis across Sweden. You will engage national and international Key Opinion Leaders and healthcare professionals to address unmet medical needs and drive scientific exchange across the product life cycle. Your expertise will support the medical strategy while helping identify innovative opportunities to improve patient value. You will support evidence generation initiatives, investigator‑initiated research, clinical feasibility assessments, and the execution of the local medical ecosystem plan.
Who you’ll work with
You will build strong relationships with national and international Key Opinion Leaders, HCPs, and research sites/CRO partners. And you will collaborate closely with internal cross‑functional teams at local, EU, and global levels.
What will you do?
Identify and engage scientific and medical influencers within the Swedish osteoporosis ecosystemLead scientific discussions and deliver presentations based on clinical, RWE, and HEOR dataExplore new solutions that raise awareness of the holistic disease burden of osteoporosisSupport Phase III/IV studies, IIS projects, and real‑world evidence generationServe as the leading local scientific expert in osteoporosis for UCBContribute to site selection, initiation, and monitoring with CROsShare medical insights that shape local, EU, and global strategiesDesign and execute the medical components of the local ecosystem plan
Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience, and skills:
Master’s degree required; Ph.D. preferredMedical Affairs experience in pharmaceutical industryLanguages: Swedish & EnglishStrong scientific and therapeutic understanding within osteoporosis preferredExperience engaging external stakeholders in a medical/scientific capacityAbility to interpret scientific data and communicate complex information clearlyStrong collaboration skills and an innovative, proactive mindsetUnderstanding of clinical research processes and RWE generationAbility to work autonomously as a field‑based scientific expertDeadline for applications: 3rd of March
