Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Medical Laboratory Technician who is comfortable relocating to the designated location once it opens in January 2027. This role involves performing a variety of lab tests classified under CLIA-88, drawing blood, interpreting microscope results, and collecting specimens. Responsibilities + Perform lab tests classified under CLIA-88. + Draw blood samples as needed. + Interpret results through microscope analysis. + Collect and handle specimens efficiently. Essential Skills + Proficiency in medical laboratory procedures and lab testing. + Experience in clinical testing. + MLT certification or CMA with lab experience. + Associate degree in medical laboratory technology or completion of a recognized Clinical Laboratory Technology course. + Certification, or eligibility for certification, as MLT (ASCP) or equivalent. Additional Skills & Qualifications + One year of lab experience preferred. Work Environment The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours between 7:30 am and 5:30 pThe position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, a 401(k), and PTO. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ames, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
