Overview and Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Location Manager to join our team. In this position, you are responsible for day-to-day management of company operations.  Exercises management principles to ensure profitability, control assets, and communicate company philosophy and objectives to the staff and community.

Adheres to and implements all company policies and proceduresCalls on key referral sources and maintains key accountsConducts in-service training for appropriate staff members at routine intervals on products, telephone techniques, third-party payer procedures or other relevant topics as necessary or desirable to improve serviceConducts physical inventory as requiredDevelops a CSR team to enhance staff telemarketing skills and ability to identify customer needsDevelops and maintains a working knowledge of current Medicare, Medicaid and insurance regulationsDevelops at least one employee per year who can assume a management roleEnsures company standard of inventory level is metEnsures that Certificates of Medical Necessity (CMN) and other documentation required for reimbursement are procured in a timely mannerEvaluates each employee annually and establishes goals for upcoming yearInitiates appropriate actions on reports and recommendations provided by authorized inspection agenciesInterviews and hires staff as needed and approved by senior management with emphasis on recruiting best-qualified candidatesIntroduces and implements a quality improvement program to comply with company and JCAHO standardsMaintains a binder in company that contains all newsletters and other policy correspondence from the Billing Department or payerMaintains and updates all manuals necessary for company operations and establishes process to evaluate company’s compliance with applicable policies and proceduresMaintains ongoing liaison with company staff, Billing Department, senior management, and / or corporate staff as requiredManages materials procurement and distributionMonitors and controls the company assets at both the company location and in customers’ homesMonitors and establishes a positive working relationship with the Billing DepartmentMonitors company operational expenses to comply with established percentage to revenue limitsMonitors marketing plan and budget monthlyMonitors the A/R aging report to attain A/R goalsParticipates in regional/local meetings as requestedTakes appropriate action to ensure that the company complies with applicable laws and regulationsMay be required to cover on call, drive a company vehicle and make deliveries to patient's homesAbility to work cooperatively with othersDeal politely with patients and referral sourcesManage several tasks at oncePerforms other duties as assigned

Required Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED equivalent, required

Preferred Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related or equivalent experience in HME, Home Health Industry, or BusinessExperience with medical equipment, preferredExperience with medical billing practices and of billing reimbursement, preferredExperience in medical field and administrative record management, preferredFour years of related work experience, preferredMedical terminology, preferred
