Our client, a dynamic healthcare provider, is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to join their team. As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will be part of the administrative team supporting the financial operations of the clinic. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Medical Billing Specialist
**Location:** Madison, IN
**Pay Range:** $18.00 hr
**What's the Job?**
+ Prepare and save clinic and insurance daysheets and deposits.
+ Record EFT deposits and post payments accurately.
+ Organize and process insurance-related mail.
+ Conduct audits and track billing errors to ensure compliance.
+ Train new staff and update fee schedules quarterly.
**What's Needed?**
+ Experience in medical billing or a related field.
+ Strong analytical skills to reconcile financial discrepancies.
+ Proficiency in managing digital records and documentation.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with team members and external partners.
+ Knowledge of insurance credentialing and contracting processes.
