Job Title: Medical Assistant - Women's Health

Women's Health clinic in DTLA is looking for a medical assistant to join their team to support the back office! MA diploma is required. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and gain extensive back office experience! 6 MONTHS - 1 YEAR OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!

REQUIREMENTS:

Bilingual in SpanishMA diplomaWilling to learn and train within the back officeResponsibilitiesRoom patients and obtain vital signsPrepare patients for examinations and proceduresAssist providers with clinical procedures as neededPerform EKGs, injections, and blood draws (as applicable)Update and maintain accurate patient records in the EMRSchedule appointments and coordinate patient flowMaintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environmentProvide excellent customer service and patient supportQualificationsCertified Medical Assistant preferred (or completion of an MA program)Knowledge of basic clinical procedures and medical terminologyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced settingBilingual (Spanish/English) a plusReliable transportation to DTLA or Lynwood locationsBenefitsCompetitive pay at $21/hourMedical, dental, and vision benefits (eligibility varies)Paid time off and holidaysSupportive team environmentOpportunities for growth and advancementJob Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Los Angeles, CA 90015.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
