Medical Assistant- Cayuga Orthopedics- Full Time- Days\n

We are seeking a dedicated medical assistant with a proven track record in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting physicians. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for success in this role.\n

Roles and Responsibilities:\n\nPerform clinical duties and procedures within the scope of practice according to NYS laws and practice protocols, ensuring patient comfort and well-being.\nRecord patients' vital signs, prepare exam rooms, and sterilize equipment and supplies as per protocols.\nAssist physicians\/providers with clinical questions, prescription refills, test results, and patient calls according to practice protocols.\nPrepare patient records for visits as directed by the physician\/provider.\n\n

Required Skills and Experience:\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent education\nDemonstrated clinical competency, including proficiency in aseptic techniques, sterilization, practice management systems, EMR, and scheduling protocols.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with basic keyboard proficiency\n\n

Preferred Skills and Experience:\n\nCertified\/Registered Medical Assistant\n\n

Location and Travel Requirements:\n\nOnsite - Cayuga Orthopedics: 16 Brentwood Drive, Suite A, Ithaca, NY 14850\nShift - 8am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday\nNo on-call \nTravel: 0% Travel can be expected in this role \n\n

Pay Range Disclosure:\n

Standard rate of $18.00 - $22.00 per hour\n
