Job Description The medical assistant will perform quality team-based patient care under the direct supervision of a clinician for both clinical and administrative functions to promote health and wellness in a safe and friendly environment. The role supports clinician and care management teams in assessing, maintaining chronic disease management, examining, and treating patient population. The medical assistant is responsible for performing all laboratory testing procedures and phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks. Essential Skills + Medical assisting + Patient care + Customer service + Medical terminology + Basic Life Support (BLS) + Ability to take manual vitals + Bilingual in English and Spanish Additional Skills & Qualifications + MA diploma OR Certified MA (CMA) OR 3 years' MA experience + High school diploma required + 2 years' experience within clinic/back office healthcare setting + Phlebotomy experience required + Active driver's license required Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Boca Raton, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $41000.00/yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
