Job Description
As a Medical Assistant, you will manage 18-22 patients for one physician daily, conducting comprehensive patient workups. This includes gathering previous medical history, taking manual vitals, performing blood draws, and conducting medication reconciliations.
Responsibilities
Conduct full patient workups including previous medical history, manual vitals, blood draws, and medication reconciliation.Manage 18-22 patients daily for one physician, with appointments scheduled at 30-minute intervals.Perform blood draws using both straight needles and butterfly methods.Provide care and perform procedures on patients primarily aged 55 and older, focusing on the underserved population.Essential Skills
Proficient in phlebotomy and blood draw techniques.High school diploma or equivalent education (GED).Graduation from a nationally accredited program in Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician Program, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Paramedic.A minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, EMT, or Paramedic.BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus.EMR system experience preferred.Work Environment
The work schedule is either 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will be rooming 18-22 patients daily with appointments set at 30-minute intervals. The patient demographic focuses on individuals aged 55 and older, emphasizing the underserved population.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
