Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our hematology and oncology office. Your main duties will include rooming patients, updating medical records, handling voicemails from the call center, and scribing for surgeons.

Responsibilities

Room patients and prepare exam rooms between visits.Update and maintain accurate medical records.Handle voicemails and communicate with the call center.Scribe for surgeons during patient consultations.Take patient vitals and conduct blood pressure tests.Clean and restock exam rooms to maintain a safe and organized environment.Support a patient flow of 15–20 patients per doctor daily.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in medical assisting and patient care.Experience with Epic software.Phlebotomy skills.Ability to collect and record patient vitals and conduct blood pressure tests.Skill in screening patients for specific provider questions.Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Red Bank, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
