Overview
We are looking for a dependable, patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, organized, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care while supporting daily clinical operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesGreet, check in, and check out patients in an efficient and friendly mannerRecord and document vital signs accurately in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systemReview, update, and maintain patient medical historiesPrepare exam rooms and patients for proceduresAssist healthcare providers during examinations, treatments, and proceduresSchedule follow-up appointments and ensure smooth patient flow throughout the dayEssential SkillsStrong proficiency in medical assisting dutiesExperience utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR)Ability to manage patient intake and outtake processes with accuracy and professionalismPreferred QualificationsCertified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential preferred but not requiredExcellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilitiesWork Environment & BenefitsClinic-based position with hours 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Fridays offSupportive work environment with opportunities for growthAccrued Paid Time Off (PTO) and holiday benefits after transition to full-time statusHealth insurance benefits available, including Cigna coverageJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Knoxville, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
