Job Description

As a Medical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling two distinct products, with a primary focus on the implantable part known as the sub-assembly or cartridge. This component holds the suture repair line, akin to a thicker fishing line, and is used in treating rotator cuff injuries by attaching the tendon to the bone. Your main duty will involve tying knots in the suture repair line around very small anchors, which may require the use of microscopes for precision. Additionally, you will assemble molded plastic parts to create the shell of the cartridge and the apparatus used for implanting sutures.

Responsibilities

Tie knots in the suture repair line around anchors with precision.Assemble molded plastic parts to create the shell of the cartridge.Handle implantable medical products with care and dexterity.Document processes on travelers ensuring the highest quality.Utilize microscopes to assist in assembly due to the small size of parts.Perform other tasks as required in the assembly process.

Essential Skills

Demonstrated hand dexterity and precision.Knowledge of handling implantable medical products.Experience using microscopes for detailed assembly work.Understanding of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

1 year plus of manual medical assembly experience.Experience in cleanroom assembly.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
