**Seeking Medical Sewers to Join Our Team** **$23/hr Working in a Cleanroom** **Job Description** This position supports the daily operations of tissue sewing for heart valve assembly. As a member of the Operations team, you will play a crucial role in achieving upcoming clinical milestones, with significant opportunities for growth. You will be involved in building valves to support clinical trials and research and development. **Responsibilities** + Sew tissue for heart valve assembly in a cleanroom environment. + Ensure finished product quality and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). + Prioritize work by sequencing and timing tasks based on precedence and importance. + Accurately handle and maneuver small components and parts. + Follow gowning procedures for cleanroom entry and exit. + Maintain accurate and up-to-date job documentation for operations and functions. + Utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software packages. + Work independently and maintain focus with minimal supervision. + Assist in ensuring cleanrooms meet standards by following appropriate cleaning procedures. **Essential Skills** + Experience in medical device manufacturing. + Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures. + Proficiency in basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. + Knowledge of and ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). + Understanding of electronic data collection systems and computer software. + Ability to use microscopes. + 2+ years sewing experience with heart valves, or 1 year experience + 4+ years working in a cleanroom environment. **Work Environment** Work in a cleanroom environment focused on sewing valves and tissues. The role requires adherence to gowning procedures and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and precision. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
