**Job Title: Medical Assembler** **$20/HR-$23/HR** **ALL SHIFTS AVAILABLE** **START ASAP** **Job Description** As a Medical Assembler, you will begin in the coiling department, working within a cleanroom environment. You will be part of a team that assembles vital medical components, such as stents and catheters, using coil winding machines and various tools. This role requires attention to detail and precision, as you will work with small parts and microscopes, and involves both sitting and standing for extended periods. **Responsibilities** + Operate coil winding machines to wrap coils around spindles for medical assembly processes. + Inspect and manipulate wires with microscopes for quality control. + Work in various cleanroom assembly areas, including molding and CEA lines, using small hand tools and following work instructions. + Participate in laser welding operations, requiring high attention to detail and hand dexterity. + Engage in implantable housing assembly using automated presses and stamping machines. + Inspect and deburr parts for quality assurance. + Adhere to gowning procedures and maintain a clean working environment. **Essential Skills** + 4-6+ months experience in medical manufacturing or small part assembly. + Proficiency with microscopes and cleanroom procedures. + Familiarity with assembly processes and coil winding. + Experience with laser welding and catheter assembly. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Mechanical inclination for housing area operations. + Good hand dexterity, similar to skills used in sewing. + Adaptability and willingness to be cross-trained in different assembly lines. **Why Work Here?** Join a company with a rich history of over 400 years and a commitment to employee satisfaction. Some positions are in non-cleanroom areas with protective eyewear and steel-toed shoe covers. The facility is very clean, with wellness plans, a workout room, and a ping pong table available. Be prepared for varying noise levels and occasional machine oil smells. Flexibility in sitting and standing is necessary, and skirts are permitted with proper coverage. Hijabs must be athletic and tucked in for safety. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn Park, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.78/hr.
