Medical Assembler
**Medical Assembler** **Shift:** 1st and 2nd shift **Schedule:** Monday–Thursday (OT possible on Fridays) **About the Role** We’re hiring Assemblers to join a growing division focused on high‑precision fiber cable and wire assembly work. In this role, you’ll work with very small parts, follow detailed work instructions, and use microscopes to complete high‑accuracy assemblies. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands‑on, detailed work in a clean, upgraded production environment. **Key Responsibilities** + Measure, cut, and place fiber cables into clips. + Follow blueprints and enlarged work instructions to feed colored wires through connectors in the correct order. + Apply epoxy, pull wires through for complete coating, and place assemblies into curing devices. + Perform final polishing on completed assemblies. + Test completed units to ensure all connections function correctly. + Use small hand tools, microscopes, or projection scopes throughout the assembly process. **Essential Skills & Experience** + 6 months–1+ year of manufacturing experience with small parts or medical device assembly. + Ability to see color accurately (important for wire sequencing). + Comfortable working under a microscope or willing to learn. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience with guidewire, catheter, wiring, or electronics assembly. + Familiarity with clean room environments. + Hand tool proficiency and comfort with microscope assembly. **Why You’ll Love Working Here** + Fast‑growing division with strong opportunities for advancement. + Newly renovated, modernized work environment with ongoing upgrades. + Supportive culture focused on physical, financial, and emotional wellbeing. + Comprehensive benefits package including: + Medical, dental, vision + FSA/HSA options + Life and disability insurance + Retirement plans + Paid time off + Potential educational assistance and parental leave **Work Environment** + Clean room environment with smocks provided. + Optional PPE such as gloves and safety glasses available. + Small but expanding team with a stable Monday–Thursday schedule. + OT opportunities on Fridays as needed. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bayport, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.76/hr.
