Job Title: Medical AssemblerJob Description

Join a dynamic team as a Medical Assembler where you'll start your journey in the coiling department within a cleanroom environment. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to perform tasks both independently and as part of a team. You'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge medical components and contribute to life-saving products.

ResponsibilitiesOperate coil winding machines to wrap coils around spindles for medical assembly processes.Perform inspections and manipulate wires using microscopes in the coiling area.Cross-train in various assembly areas including Molding, CEA Assembly, Laser Welding, and Implantable Housings.Inspect, deburr, and file parts using hand tools such as pliers, filers, and knives.Work with laser welding machines to finish small medical components.Operate automated presses and stamping machines in the non-cleanroom area.Use microscopes and hand tools to perform assemblies following written work instructions.
Essential Skills4-6+ months of experience in medical manufacturing or working with small parts.Proficiency in using microscopes.Experience in a cleanroom environment.Familiarity with assembly processes, coil winding, and laser welding.
Additional Skills & QualificationsMechanical inclination is beneficial for the housings area.Experience in activities requiring hand dexterity, such as sewing.Willingness to adapt and cross-train in different areas.Comfortable with both sitting and standing for extended periods.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.78/hr.
