**Job Title: Medical Assembler**
**Job Description**
As a Medical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling small medical parts, such as catheters, using small hand tools and microscopes. You will work independently, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and promptly, while maintaining confidentiality in accordance with company policies. Your role requires adherence to safety standards and the operation of equipment such as adhesive dispensers, vertical shrinkers, braiders, tipping machines, drilling, punching, and measuring devices. You will keep detailed records of materials used and procedures followed and advise on equipment repairs and upgrades. Collaborating effectively with co-workers and supporting engineering project leaders with modifications and improvements is essential.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble small medical parts using small hand tools and microscopes.
+ Work independently to complete assignments accurately and promptly.
+ Maintain confidentiality of information in accordance with company policy.
+ Adhere to safety requirements.
+ Operate equipment such as adhesive dispensers and tipping machines.
+ Document materials used and procedures followed.
+ Advise on equipment repairs and upgrades.
+ Collaborate with co-workers and support engineering project leaders.
+ Perform testing of devices or components following written protocols.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of assembly experience in a fast-paced environment.
+ Experience with small piece assembly.
+ Detail-oriented.
+ Comfortable working under a microscope all day.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Medical or pharmaceutical experience is highly preferred.
+ Prior experience with microscopes.
+ Experience in plastic part assembly, adhesive bonding, materials knowledge, and prototyping.
+ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and procedures.
+ Understanding of measurement units and ability to take and comprehend measurements.
+ Dexterity and ability to work with small parts.

**Work Environment**
Work in a clean room environment equipped with ISO class 7 facilities, using a microscope and small hand tools for assembly. The environment requires wearing lab coats, hairnets, and foot covers. Candidates will perform repetitive tasks while sitting, ensuring adherence to GMP standards.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Zurich, Illinois.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
