Medical Assembler
**Job Title: Medical Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Assembler to join our team, specializing in the assembly of small medical parts, such as catheters, using small hand tools and microscopes. The ideal candidate will work independently, adhere to safety protocols, and maintain confidentiality while ensuring accuracy and timeliness in completing assignments. **Responsibilities** + Assemble catheters using adhesive dispensers, vertical shrinkers, braiders, tipping machines, drilling, punching, and measuring devices. + Maintain written records of materials used, procedures followed, and inspection features on supplied data forms (LHR, etc.). + Advise on repairs and upgrades needed for manufacturing equipment. + Foster positive working relationships with co-workers. + Track materials, tools, and procedures during device manufacturing, affirming incoming materials meet purchase order specifications. + Support the engineer project leader with modifications in written procedures and suggest improvements for product or sub-assemblies. + Perform testing of devices or components in accordance with written protocols and test procedures. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of assembly experience in a fast-paced environment. + Experience with small piece assembly. + Comfortable working under a microscope all day. + Technical skills including plastic part assembly, adhesive bonding, materials knowledge, and prototyping. + Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and procedures. + Understanding of measurement units, ability to take and comprehend measurements. + Dexterity with hands for working with small parts. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Medical or pharmaceutical experience highly preferred. + Prior microscope experience. + Detail-oriented. **Why Work Here?** Join a family-owned company known for its clean work environment and supportive culture. The role involves assembling small medical devices in a clean room environment using a microscope and small hand tools. Expect repetitive work while seated, adhering to GMP standards, and wearing lab coats, hairnets, and foot covers. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
