Medical Affairs Manager
**The position** This role focuses on developing and sustaining deep medical and scientific expertise within the assigned product and therapeutic area, ensuring strong foundations that support strategic decision making and scientific excellence. **Tasks and responsibilities** As a **Medical Affairs Manager** , you will be responsible for: + Contributing medical expertise to the design and approval of medical and marketing materials and ensuring compliance with local legal regulations and internal Standard Operating Procedures. + Planning, executing, and monitoring the effectiveness of local medical activities. + Identifying, interacting, and engaging with External Experts (EEs), clinicians, scientific societies, and other data driven stakeholders to understand and meet company and customer needs, while driving awareness of the company’s products within the academic and clinical community. + Leading medical projects (e.g., national symposia, advisory board meetings). + Driving Medico Marketing collaboration and co creating and executing the Integrated Brand Plan (IBP) and Integrated Customer Plan (ICP), using both traditional and innovative communication channels, including digital solutions. + Planning, initiating, and conducting Real World Data generation and collection through Medical Affairs programs such as non interventional studies, non trial activities, Investigator Initiated Studies (IIS), or compassionate use programs. + Interacting with key external stakeholders such as scientific societies, regulatory authorities, and patient organizations. + Ensuring compliance with company SOPs related to areas such as adverse event reporting, pharmacovigilance procedures within Medical Affairs projects, and MLR activities for both promotional and non promotional materials. + Acting as a therapeutic area expert on behalf of the company, demonstrating the ability to be perceived as a peer by External Experts, while closely collaborating with cross functional colleagues and leveraging TA expertise to support medico marketing cooperation and the execution of IBP activities. **Requirements** You should have previous experience in pharmaceutical industry in a similar position in Medical Department (preferably in pulmonology and / or rheumatology). **Additionally, we are looking for:** + Previous business background (sales/marketing) could be an asset. + University degree (preferably MD or qualified to degree level) in medicine, pharmacy or other biological sciences. + Experience in the generation, publication and interpretation of scientific information into clinically relevant data according to criteria of evidence-based medicine. + Strong business mind-set and thorough knowledge of marketing, external customer’s needs and compliance necessity.
