Our client, a leading medical device manufacturing organization, is seeking a Medical Device Assembler to join their team. As a Medical Device Assembler, you will be part of the Manufacturing Operations department supporting Production and Quality teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to follow standardized procedures, and a positive, team-focused attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Operator I
Location: Sylmar, CA 91342
Pay Range: $21.50/hour
Shift: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
Assemble, repair, and test medical devices such as pacemakers, ICDs, leads, and related components within a manufacturing cell.
Follow written and verbal work instructions, SOPs, and standardized procedures to meet quality and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation, travelers, and electronic data records to ensure full product traceability.
Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to support Lean Manufacturing goals.
Adhere to all safety, gowning, and cleanroom guidelines while maintaining a professional and positive attitude.
What’s Needed?High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
Experience handling small components and performing repetitive, detail-oriented tasks.
Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing and quality systems (QMS/EMS preferred).
Ability to use computer systems and electronic data collection tools.
