Media Operations Manager

**The Position**
The Operations Lead is a pivotal role supporting the Creative Solutions group for Human Pharma in the United States at Boehringer is responsible for helping enhance and optimize our global creative footprint to boost efficiency, quality, and speed to market. The Operations Lead will manage an Argentina-based team of creatives and other functions, partnering closely with the Director, Creative Solutions in the US to help evolve culture, operations, and processes for this team.
This role reports to the CET Media Design & Event Technologies manager with a dotted line to the Director, Creative Solutions in the US.
**Tasks and responsibilities**
+ Independently oversee the entire Argentina team (currently 7 resources supporting Creative Solutions and 1 supporting Content Excellence). This includes overarching resource management, administrative management covering finances, recruiting and general onboarding, as well as collaboration with the US team leads for role-specific onboarding.
+ Partner with the US Creative Solutions team to help cultivate a dynamic, innovative, and collaborative environment with creativity at the forefront, as well as guiding the entire group towards organizational goals.
+ Lead and manage this team, making sure everyone is motivated, delivering results and thriving personally.
+ Resolves issues or obstacles facing the team/individuals, escalating when necessary.
+ Participates in necessary touchpoint meetings to understand active and upcoming projects/initiatives.
+ Supplies budget recommendations for productivity tools, technology, travel, and learning and development.
+ Builds relevant partnerships outside of the group, within IT and across the organization.
+ With input from US Creative Solutions and Content Excellence leads:
+ Understands brand priorities to ensure work executed aligns with business and brand strategies.
+ Looks to optimize processes. Leveraging existing processes, advise on optimizations that will scale, enhance ways of working and support growth for this group.
+ Gains a basic understanding of the tools/programs the group uses.
+ Determines key metrics to measure team satisfaction, client satisfaction and productivity.
**Requirements**
**Required**
+ 8+ years of project and/or account management and creative operations experience working with cross-functional teams at a marketing/advertising agency, design firm or an in-house creative team. Global experience a plus.
+ Minimum of 4+ years supervisory experience.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Proof HQ, Google Docs, Smartsheet, Jira, Wrike or similar project management tool.
+ Experience with and understanding of a broad range of creative project types, from digital projects to print to video. End to end project management experience preferred.
+ Experience pricing creative work and managing a budget.
+ An interest in pharmaceutical and/or wellness advertising.
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
+ Excellent spoken and written English.
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
