Job Title: Mechanical Torque EngineerJob Description

This role involves managing, monitoring, and overseeing all requirements for fastening processes on products to ensure compliance with corporate and plant standards. You will construct and maintain a torque database and process strategy list for each launch vehicle model. Additionally, you will establish a routine specification download process and maintain torque monitoring routes per requirements. The position requires performing and assisting with torque static and dynamic correlation studies as needed.

ResponsibilitiesGain foundational knowledge and proficiency in corporate torque related requirements.Construct and maintain torque database and process strategy list for each launch vehicle model.Establish a routine specification download process, integrating updates into processes.Maintain torque database for process and line balance, including tool changes.Establish and maintain torque monitoring routes as required.Perform and assist with torque static and dynamic correlation studies when necessary.Support technical aspects of torque tooling and monitoring in planning and daily activities.Establish solid working relationships inside and outside the plant, including with peers, leadership, operators, and resources.Essential SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows-based systems.Ability to interpret large amounts of data.Problem-solving ability.Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience; technical degree preferred.5+ years relevant experience in fields such as quality control, manufacturing, or statistics.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with torque tools and systems, including ASI DataMyte Transend preferred.Understanding of process control plans (PCPs) and process failure mode effect analysis (PFMEA).Comfortable presenting issues and corrective actions in launch meeting forums.Work Environment

This position is based in an OEM manufacturing environment and operates on a first shift schedule from Monday to Friday. The role offers a long-term opportunity to work with an OEM manufacturer and requires comfort in a manufacturing plant setting.

This is a Permanent position based out of Spring Hill, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
