Mechanical Test Engineer
A client of ours is seeking a highly hands-on **Mechanical Test Engineer** to join their team and support a wide range of product development and testing initiatives. This individual will take a lead role in developing test plans, executing testing protocols, and driving improvements across product design, quality investigations, and operational processes. **Job Title:** Mechanical Test Engineer **Location:** Arden Hills, MN **Salary:** 85-100k **Key Responsibilities:** + Plan, coordinate, and execute testing activities to support product development, customer requirements, quality investigations, and operations enhancements. + Lead the development of product test plans for new or existing equipment in collaboration with Design Engineering teams. + Ensure all testing documentation is accurate, thorough, and compliant with current procedures and standards. + Perform complex testing on new, existing, and competitive products and materials. + Analyze test data and assist in the creation of detailed test reports and technical documentation. + Provide daily task direction for lab technicians and interns to ensure testing schedules and priorities are met. + Support ongoing lab maintenance and continuous improvement efforts, including the upkeep and enhancement of testing apparatus. + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the lab + Comply with all company safety policies and procedures. + Perform additional duties as assigned to meet business and technical needs. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. + 5+ years of experience are needed to be considered + Proven hands-on experience with mechanical testing and lab equipment. + Strong understanding of mechanical systems, test methodology, and data analysis. + Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally. + Experience directing technicians or interns is a plus. + Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement. **Benefits** + 5 days onsite + Medical, Dental, & Vision with HSA and FSA plans + PTO Plan + Retirement plans including a 401K match + Supplemental Life Insurance & Disability Plans + ESOP If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
