Job Position: Mechanical Technician

Hours: Monday-Friday (some Saturdays) 9am/10am - 7pm/8pm

Pay: $30-33/hr.

Description

We are looking for a mechanical technician who has a moderate to expert level doing mechanical maintenance on conveyor systems, gear boxes, equipment, troubleshooting and can wire motors. This position will also require bearing and repair welding when necessary, as well as fabricating guard rails. This role will be on-site at a metal recycling landfill in Gilbert, SC, and it will be outdoors and the climate and environment are 100% dependent on weather.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Experience troubleshooting and doing mechanical maintenance on conveyor systems, gear boxes, and commercial/industrial equipment

-Experience wiring and re-wiring motors and mechanical equipment

-Experience doing repair welding and fabricating metal facility equipment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
