Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Technician with a strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with engines and supporting systems such as coolant, DEF components, hoses, and wiring connectors. This role supports the Cab Set Team, focusing on 'Cab & Chassis prep' just before the cab is set. THIS IS AN 8-WEEK PROJECT.
ResponsibilitiesPerform cab and chassis preparation tasks.Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently.Read and interpret blueprints and perform mechanical assembly.Maintain a high level of mechanical aptitude.Work collaboratively within a team environment.Communicate professionally and follow directions accurately.Frequently bend, stoop, squat, and climb up and down ladders.Lift up to 40 lbs as necessary.Essential SkillsStrong mechanical aptitude.Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements with at least 2 years of experience.Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools such as drills, screw guns, and caulk guns with at least 2 years of experience.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Professional communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsMechanically inclined with experience in general labor.Familiarity with electrical components and mechanical assembly.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.20 - $18.20/hr.
