Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to assemble, install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain test stands and other mechanical equipment. The successful candidate will fabricate test stand fixtures, operate laboratory test equipment, and perform demonstrations of test stand equipment. Additionally, this role involves sourcing or fabricating replacement parts for both electrical and mechanical systems, and building and repairing hydraulic and other mechanical systems.
Responsibilities
Assemble, install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain test stands and mechanical equipment.Fabricate test stand fixtures and perform general fabrication tasks.Operate test stands and laboratory test equipment.Perform demonstrations of test stand equipment.Source or fabricate replacement parts for electrical and mechanical systems.Build and repair hydraulic and other mechanical systems.Create panel layouts and perform miscellaneous shop-related duties.Ensure safe operation of power and manual tools in compliance with health and safety regulations.Communicate with supervisors and clients regarding work schedules and time/material cost estimates.Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance, calibrations, and servicing of equipment.Interpret drawings, manuals, and instructions to fulfill assigned tasks.Maintain and replenish common parts inventory.Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.Attend regular training workshops and report progress to supervisors.Essential Skills

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr.
