This opportunity is with an established General Contractor that specializes in converting existing Buildings and Structures into complex buildings / industrial complexes and is looking to expand its foothold even further into the Critical Facilities / AI / HPC Market. Our client is taking their expertise and focus and applying it towards brownfield data center projects - which is the process for converting an existing building to a data center for the Hyperscale, Colo or Enterprise Marketplace. This company will provide a complete life cycle of solutions that will be custom-fit to the requirements of their client's mission-critical facility. The Mechanical Super will be responsible for field activities associated with the project as they need to be well versed in the HVAC / Mechanical Equipment in a Critical Facilities Environment, including supervision of all field construction work by all subcontractors / trades and self-performed work.
The Super will keep in constant contact with Subcontractors to ensure timely work to keep project on time / within budget. Ensures equipment purchased is in onsite at the project when needed. Shares responsibility with the construction project manager for developing and keeping to the project budget, actively participating in the preconstruction phase, responsible for all mechanical aspects of the project, from initial design through commissioning and production, change orders, and ensuring that the project is built on time, within budget, and according to company policies and procedures. Manages and mentors assistant Supers and Coordinators and other field personnel. Maintains a relentless focus on meeting and exceeding customer needs and expectations through the life of the project.

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering a plus5+ years field supervision experience requiredExperience managing Data Center Construction Projects Experience working on Construction Projects with Budgets ranging from $50mm + Client Facing / Client relationship / Client Management skillsHeavy experience with conceptual design and/or construction management of chillers, AHUs, cooling towers, CRAC and CRAH units, and other critical HVAC systemsManaged Projects for HVAC installation of Equipment for Data Centers a MUSTExperience with Mechanical / HVAC Systems such as Chillers, HVAC, CRAC, CRAH, Cooling Towers, Pumps, Boilers, Hot Aisle / Cold Aisle ; a MUSTMust be familiar with the design process of building systems for data center and mission critical projectsMust be familiar with the construction process of critical facilities as it pertains to MEP, Civil, Structural, and General Building ConstructionCoordinate inspections for areas and trades such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fireproofing, drywall, steel and concreteWillingness to travel to project site / onsite Mon-FriGeneral contractor / construction manager engaged in general building and civil constructionPrevious experience in the Military / Military Veterans from all branches a huge plus! Experience with Electrical / Mechanical: Navy nukes - EMN, ETN, MMNs, Seabees, Army - Power Generation, Air Force – Power Production, Generator Techs, Maritime, Coast Guard, Army National Guard, etc.Project Management Professional (PMP) or Relevant accreditation of Project Management Methodology a PLUSEffective Communicator – emails, phone and face to faceAbility to successfully work independently; Self Starter, self motivated, and should prioritize wellCustomer Service DrivenComputer Savvy (Microsoft Suite, MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)Solid Communicator – (written and verbal)Submittal Instructions:
