In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians while managing the performance of a complete product line. You will play a key part in driving product innovation, improving manufacturing processes, and ensuring the organization continues to deliver high-quality American-made waterworks products that support sustainable water distribution.
ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians to ensure product line success and team growth.Manage the full lifecycle of new product development from concept to market release.Apply technical expertise to integrate innovative features, resolve production challenges, and uphold quality standards.Drive process improvements, cost reduction efforts, and ROI analysis for product and tooling initiatives.Collaborate across sales, operations, marketing, and quality to align on goals and deliver customer-focused solutions.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.10 years of experience in manufacturing or mechanical engineering with leadership responsibilities.Experience with cost analysis, sourcing, materials, and conformance testing.Experience working with product lines and New Product Launches.Proven ability to solve problems, improve processes, and deliver results.Excellent communication skills to work effectively across all levels of the organization.Proficiency in SolidWorks and MS Office, comfortable with hand and power tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with casting, welding, forming, rubber, bare metal.Familiarity with quality assurance, conformity inspections, and industrial waterworks design.Knowledge of piping, coating, and bare metal applications.Work EnvironmentProduction / Industrial Manufacturing work environment where team members frequently engage in hands-on tasks. It's not uncommon to see grease stains on their clothing. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
