This role involves a more technical position than Installer I, suited for candidates who are mechanically inclined. The individual will work with hand and power tools and should have previous installation experience, particularly with machinery and robotics.
ResponsibilitiesInstall 20 robotic arms, approximately 40 sub-stations, and internal site fencing.Perform tasks on mezzanine and sub-mezzanine levels, including using power tools, sweeping, and running materials up the elevator using a pallet jack.Assist project teams with commissioning, cleaning the warehouse, and building robotic arms and stations.Move, strap, and catalogue materials using pallet jacks.Commission towers using hand and air-powered tools according to diagrams.Follow step-by-step instructions for installation processes.Run wiring for power supply.Essential SkillsAbility to lift 40-50 lbs consistently.Experience working 8 hours a day on a hard cement floor.Good attendance record.Ability to follow directions effectively.Willingness to work in multiple positions, including inventory and housekeeping.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in material handling, robotics, general labor, construction, loading, packaging, and cleaning.Why Work Here?Gain valuable insight into the material handling industry by installing devices on-site at distribution centers. Work EnvironmentThe work is performed in a distribution center currently under construction, which may be messy, loud, and crowded at times. High visibility requires presentability and professionalism. The attire includes PPE such as high-visibility vests, glasses, hard hats, gloves, and composite toe shoes/boots. Jeans and t-shirts are acceptable, but avoid loose, baggy clothing.
