Job Description
Join a dynamic service company undertaking an automation upgrade project at a large distribution facility. In this role, you will be responsible for installing robotic arms and related equipment to enhance the facility's operations.
Responsibilities
Install 20 robotic arms, approximately 40 sub-stations, and internal site fencing on the loading docks.Utilize power tools, pallet jacks, and air-powered tools to commission towers according to diagrams.Push a broom and run materials up the elevator using a pallet jack.Assist project teams by commissioning, cleaning the warehouse, and building robotic arms and stations.Follow step-by-step instructions and run wiring for power supply of products.Move, strap, and catalogue materials using pallet jacks.Essential Skills
Previous installation experience with machinery, robotics, etc.Hand and power tool experience Ability to pass specific criteria testing.Capability to lift 40-50 lbs consistently.Experience working 8-hour shifts on cement floors.Strong attendance record and ability to take direction well.Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in general labor, construction, loading, packaging, cleaning, and use of hand tools.Understanding of basic safety practices.Strong mechanical aptitude.Ability to work independently once trained.Reliable communication skills and ability to work well with a team.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work is conducted in a large facility with multiple floors. The environment can be messy, loud, and crowded due to ongoing construction. Most tasks are performed on mezzanine and sub-mezzanine levels. Expect a mix of air-conditioned and open-air conditions, which can be hot during summer months. The role is physically demanding, requiring significant walking and movement on cement floors. Work attire includes jeans, steel-toed shoes, t-shirts, and high-visibility vests, with other safety gear such as safety glasses, hard hats, gloves, and earplugs provided. The schedule is from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch break, averaging 40 hours per week.

This is a Contract position based out of Vandalia, Ohio paying $24.00 an hour.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
